Barbara A. (Martin) Ritter

Obituary

Barbara A. Ritter, 77, of Newville, passed away on January 9, 2022 at home.

Born November 12, 1944 in Carlisle, she was the daughter of the late Edward and Marion (Hildebrandt) Martin. She was the widow of Robert C. Ritter who died August 11, 2018.

Mrs. Ritter was a graduate of Carlisle High School and had previously been employed by Carlisle Hospital.  She was most recently employed  as a hostess at the Flying J.

Barb was a former member of St. John Episcopal Church, Carlisle.

She was preceded in death by an infant son Joseph and a sister Sandra Warren.

Surviving are her daughter  Julie (John) Grimes of Mt. Holly Springs; a brother Donald Martin of Carlisle and two grandchildren Jillian and Johnathan Grimes.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, January 21, 2022 at 1:00 PM from the Ronan Funeral Home, 255 York Road, Carlisle.  Burial will be in Mt. Zion Cemetery, Boiling Springs.  Viewing will be at the funeral home on Friday from 12 Noon until time of service.
