Walter Allen, Jr.

Walter C. Allen Jr., 73 of Carlisle and formerly of Waretown, NJ passed away on Saturday October 23, 2021, at UPMC Carlisle.

Born October 2, 1948, in Trenton, New Jersey he was the son of the late Walter C. & Claire S. nee Smith Allen.

In his younger years Walter was employed by Gulf Fuel Station in Lakehurst, New Jersey, after which he worked for Berkeley Township as a supervisor mechanic for 26 ½ years until his retirement.

Walter enjoyed working on and restoring classic automobiles, trains, and reading historical books especially about World War II’s planes and ships. He was a member of Bayville, New Jersey Elk lodge.

Surviving is his beloved wife Theresa “Terrie” Allen; son Walter D. Allen; daughter Heather M. Allen; granddaughter Katlyn M. Allen; daughter Alida Sosa (Luis);  grandson Luis Sosa; granddaughter Madelyn Sosa; cousin Bill Reynolds; and special friends George Wood, Hebe, Ademir, & Gerald-Anthony Soares, Bill Desantis, Bill Rovinsky, and numerous friends from Bordentown, NJ & Carlisle, PA.

Arrangements are private and at the convenience of the family.
