VIRGINIA DEWALT
Virginia “Ginny” Dewalt, 64, of Carlisle, died Friday, December 21, 2012 in the Carlisle Regional Medical Center.
Born January 1, 1948 in Allen, Pa (Churchtown), she was a daughter of the late James and Annie C. (Garman) Witter.
Ginny had attended Cumberland Valley High School and had been employed at the former Book of the Month Club, Mechanicsburg.
She enjoyed RV camping, train and boat rides and especially enjoyed traveling to explore lighthouses.
She was preceded in death by 5 sisters: Mary Barrick, Grace Rufe, Judy Witter and two infant sisters.
Surviving are he husband: Michael Dewalt, Jr.; a daughter: Dianne Barrick of Carlisle; two sons: Michael Rynard, and wife Natalie and David Baker, both of Carlisle; four sisters: Betty Nelson of Grand Junction, CO; Esther Darnell of West Virginia; Alma Quigley of Carlisle and Martha Neff of Landisburg; three brothers: Roy Witter of Texas; Merle Witter of Mechanicsburg and Charles Witter of Newville; six grandchildren: Danielle Dineen, Isaiah Wells, Keyanna Wells, Gage Rynard and Taylor Rynard and two great grandchildren: McKenna and Irelynn Dineen.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A. M. Thursday, December 27, 2012 from the Ronan Funeral Home, 255 York Road, Carlisle. Burial will follow in Mt. Zion Cemetery, Boiling Springs. Viewing will be at the funeral home on Thursday from 10:00 A. M. until time of service.
