Thelma Henshaw

Thelma Henshaw, loving wife and mother, passed away peacefully at her home in Carlisle, Pa. on October 11, 2012. Thelma was born December 6, 1919 in Brantford, Ontario Canada. Throughout her life she enjoyed bowling, tennis, golf, bridge, boating and was an accomplished pianist. Thelma was a member of the Erie Yacht Club, Naples Cruise club, Kahkwa Country club of Erie and the Quail Run Golf Club of Naples. She was an active member of the Hamot Hospital Aid Society with 25 years of volunteer service. Thelma was preceded in death by her parents James and Ethel Hillier of Brantford, brothers Jack and Jim, husband Charles Lund of 25 years and husband Richard Henshaw of 30 years. She is survived by her sister May Hillier, daughter Amber Thiemann, son in law Harvey Thiemann, son Jim Lund, daughter in law Linda Lund, four grandchildren, Stacie Ritter, Charles Thiemann, Jim Lund Jr. and Jeffrey Lund and six great grandchildren, Cori, Mandy, Miranda, William, Lance and Luke plus many nieces and nephews. Gravesides services for the immediate family will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Kidney Cancer Association.
