Robert L. Stephens, Sr., 80, of Carlisle, died Friday, December 29, 2017 in the Forest Park Health Center, Carlisle.
Born April 28, 1937 in Carlisle, he was a son of the late Charles and Ethel (Klinger) Stephens.
Mr. Stephens was a retired saw operator for L. B. Smith, Camp Hill. He was a member of the Mechanicsburg Club, Fraternal Order of Eagles Aerie #1299 and the White Circle Club.
He proudly served his country in the United States Marine Corps.
Surviving are his wife: Jacqueline; two daughters: Tammy (Jeff) Myers of New Port Ritchie, FL and Trish (Greg) Warehime of Mechanicsburg; three sons: Robert L. Stephens, Jr. (Wendy) of Mt. Holly Springs; David Stephens (Sheri) of Chambersburg and Richard Stephens (Roberta) of Carlisle; a brother: Vernon Stephens of Shippensburg; eight grandchildren and several great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at the Ronan Funeral Home, 255 York Road, Carlisle, on Tuesday, january 2, 2018 at 3:00 P. M. Viewing will be at the funeral home on Tuesday from 2:00 P. M. until time of service. Burial, with military honors, will take place at a later date at Indiantown Gap National Cemetery.
