Rita M. Stanek

Rita M. Stanek, 68, of Carlisle passed away on Sunday, June 30, 2024 at UPMC West Shore Hospital.

Born January 9, 1956 in McKeesport, PA, she was the daughter of the late Peter and Marie (Lipocak) Smerecky.

Mrs. Stanek was retired from the U S Government where she had been a Supervisor for Department of Defense.

She attended St. Joseph Roman Catholic Church, Mechanicsaburg.  Rita was very involved with the Molly Pitcher Stitchers and was a Judge of Elections in Middlesex Twp. for many years.

Surviving are her husband, Gregory Stanek

Services were held privately.
