Richard Firedman

Richard P. Friedman, 76, of Carlisle passed away at home on Saturday, December 15, 2018.

Born July 24, 1942 in New York, NY, he was the son of the late Harry and Mae (Cohen) Friedman.

Richard graduated from Tulane University in 1964. He was a U S Army veteran of Vietnam.

Richard held jobs at IBM and EquiSource Incorporated, his last employment being with EquiSource as Executive Vice President.

Richard was actively involved with Carlisle Aeromodelers Inc, member since May 2011, and Capitol Area Flyers, member since 2014.

Richard loved hunting and hunting dogs also. He was a big animal lover.

Surviving are his wife: Tatiana (Koldunava) Friedman; a stepson: Evgeny Kazanskiy; two brothers: Michael Friedman; Andrey (and Elena) Lubimtsev, and their son Andrew Lubimtsev and his nieces, Linda Friedman and Vicki Haber, and his nephew, David Friedman.

A Remembrance Gathering will be held at 12:00 P.M. on Wednesday, December 19, 2019 at the Ronan Funeral Home, 255 York Road, Carlisle. Visitation will be at the funeral home on Wednesday from 11:00 A. M. until 12:00 P. M. Burial, with military honors, will be at Indiantown Gap National Cemetery, Annville,
