Randy L. Diehl

On Monday, March 11th, Randy Diehl of Boiling Springs, PA, passed away at the age of 67.   Randy was born in 1951 in Mechanicsburg, PA to Raymond and Genevieve (Sheeley) Diehl.  He graduated from Cumberland Valley High School in 1969, earned an accounting degree from Bucknell University, and worked for United Telephone for 25 years.

Randy married Nancy (Loscher) Diehl on June 08, 1973.  They raised two sons, Matthew (husband to Jessica) and Brian (husband to Malissa).   In addition to being a loving husband and wonderful father, Randy was also a beloved grandfather to his four grandchildren, Ashton, Aiden, Alex and Olivia.

Randy was the fortunate recipient of a liver transplant in1997 and was afforded 22 additional years with his family.  He was always a fan, and often a coach, of any sports team his children and grandchildren played on.  Over the years, Randy played volleyball, golf and basketball.  He also enjoyed Penn State football and Orioles baseball.

Randy is survived by his parents, his wife, his siblings Brenda Pallante and Donald Diehl, and his sons and their families.

Memorial services will be held at 11:00 A. M. Monday, March 18, 2019 at Otterbein United Methodist Church, 647 Forge Road, Carlisle, with Rev. Bruce Fensterbush officiating.  Visitation will be at the Ronan Funeral Home, 255 York Road, Carlisle on Sunday evening from 6-8 P. M.
