August 18, 1963 – March 2, 2026
Patricia Y. Glasco, 62, of Carlisle, PA, was called home on March 2, 2026.
Born on August 18, 1963, in Buffalo, NY, she was the daughter of the late James Coble II and Patricia (Lee) Coble Harwell. While the world knew her as a daughter, mother, and friend, Patricia viewed herself first and foremost as a soldier “about her Father’s business.”
To Patricia, life was not merely a series of events, but a spiritual journey. She often reminded those she loved that she was “a spiritual being having a physical experience,” and she lived with the quiet confidence that when her earthly mission was complete, God would bring her safely home.
That mission unfolded daily at the Carlisle Walmart, where Patricia served as more than just a cashier; she was a beacon of light. She cherished the opportunity to interact with her community, viewing her work as a way to provide for her family while spreading joy to strangers. She was known for her glowing spirit and her signature wit, often joking with customers that “Wally” was her husband because he kept her bills paid—a final laugh she offered to everyone before they left her register.
Patricia’s heart had no borders. Her love of travel took her across the United States and as far as Asia, proving there were no limits to where she would go to spread love. Whether she was halfway around the world or standing in her own kitchen, her words were a tapestry of daily prayers and scriptures, always tailored to the “good word” her spirit moved her to speak to whomever she crossed paths with.
Her spiritual legacy and vibrant light lives on through her children: Darryl Coble, Justina Woodson, Jessica Beltre-Perez, Da-Vida Hemphill, and David & Mishaila Hemphill.
She is also survived by her siblings: Donell Lee, Renee Crosby, James Coble III, Parish Fitzgerald Sr., and Tasha Coble, all of Buffalo, NY.
Patricia’s love multiplied through her grandchildren: Tayjuhn, Euniquike, Za'Karai, Zar'Manei, Lianny, Ka’miyah, Malakhi, Malandra, Emaunnuelle, Elijah, Ly'kell, Joahna'Ya, Ly'Asia, Journey, Daviana, Alexa, Kiana, Dimonie, Navin, and Davon, as well as eight great-grandchildren.
We take comfort in the promise of the resurrection, knowing she has finally heard the words she lived for: “Well done, good and faithful servant; enter thou into the joy of thy Lord.”
