NATHAN R. POWERS

Nathan R. Powers “Nate”, 46, of Mechanicsburg, passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, June 18, 2023.

Born May 8, 1977 in Carlisle, he was the son of Arlene “Kay” (Duprey) Powers and William R. Powers, Sr. of Carlisle.

Nathan attended Boiling Springs High School. He was a beloved son, father and brother he enjoyed spending time with his three sons at sporting events and on vacations.  He also enjoyed drag racing cars all over especially at Maple Grove & South Mountain Speedway. 

He was employed by Fleet Pride as a Service Manager in Harrisburg.

Nathan was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents: Robert and Louella Duprey of Carlisle and his paternal grandparents: Daniel and Katherine Geesey of Carlisle.

In addition to his parents, he is survived by three sons: Alex Powers of Carlisle, Benjamin and Calen Powers of Mechanicsburg, a sister, Holly (Powers) Johnston of Carlisle, two brothers, William Powers Jr.(Mary) of Mechanicsburg and Chris Powers (Dianne) of Carlisle, several aunts , uncles , nieces and nephews. 

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, June 28, 2023 at 11:00 A. M. from the Ronan Funeral Home, 255 York Road, Carlisle.  Burial will follow at Cumberland Valley Memorial Gardens, Carlisle. Viewing will be at the funeral home on Tuesday, June 27, 2023 from 6-8 P. M.
