NANCY C. CHRISTY

Nancy C. Christy, 84, of York and formerly of Gettysburg, passed away on Sunday, September 4, 2022 at Promedica, Carlisle.

Born October 5, 1937 in Scranton, she was the daughter of the late Frank E. And Madeline (Miller) Merrick.  She was the widow of LeRoy Hunt.

Mrs. Christy was a retired supervisor with Nutrition Management.

Nancy’s love was sewing, but she also greatly enjoyed decorating and scrapbooking.

She was preceded in death by a daughter Mary Mowen and a son Donald Christy, Jr.

Surviving are a step-daughter:  Lisa Hunt-Myers of Wellsville; a brother Frannk Merrick of Florida, a sister Mary Fontinell of Tennessee.  Also surviving are a grandson Troy (wife Angie) Christy of York and two great grandsons Camren and Landen Christy.

Services will be private at the convenience of the family.
