MILDRED C. SHERIFF
Mildred C. Sheriff, 86, of Carlisle and formerly of New Jersey, died Monday, Feb. 27, 2012 in the Sarah A. Todd Memorial Home, Carlisle.
Born May 11, 1925 in Mechanicsburg, she was a daughter of the late Leroy and Anna (Martin) Zimmerman and the widow of David Sheriff, who died in 1963.
Mildred attended the Northside Baptist Church, Carlisle. She dearly loved her family and her grandchildren and great grandchildren were the joy of her life.
Surviving are two sons: David Sheriff and wife Pat of Carlisle; Benjamin and wife Diane of Pennsville, NJ; a daughter: Roxann Law and husband Bill, also of Pennsville, NJ; six grandchildren and six great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday, March 2, 2012 from the Northside Baptist Church, 400 Cornman Road, Carlisle, with Pastor Douglas Farrow officiating. Viewing will be at the church on Friday from 10:00 a.m. until time of service. Burial will be in Longsdorff Cemetery, New Kingstown.
