The following from an unknown author describes Michele and her spirit:

“A limb has fallen from the family tree, I keep hearing a voice that says, grieve not for me. Remember the best times, the laughter, the song. The good life I lived while I was strong. Continue my heritage, I am counting on you. Keep smiling and surely the sun will shine through. My mind is at ease, my soul is at rest. Remembering all, how truly I was blessed. Continue traditions, no matter how small. Go on with your life, don’t worry about falls. I miss you all dearly, so keep up your chin. Until the day comes that we are together again”.

Michele’s life was one of love, dedication and service. After graduating from Monroe Woodbury High School she went on to receive a Bachelor Degree from Dominican College and a Master’s Degree from Shippensburg University. She embarked on a rewarding career as an elementary school teacher for over three decades at W.G. Rice in Mt Holly Springs, Pennsylvania. Michele nurtured young minds with kindness and patience, leaving a positive mark on the community that will not be forgotten.
