Mary Anne (Harr) Keeseman, 56 of Carlisle passed away in her home with family on Tuesday August 28th 2018 after a short battle with cancer. Mary was born January 11th 1962 in Cumberland Maryland. She was the daughter of the late Kenneth M and Margaret A (Gross) Harr. Mary was a 1980 graduate of Boiling Springs High School. Mary started working at Mccoy Electronics after finishing high school, and later became a caregiver. She spent the last 13 years of her life working with those with disabilities. Mary was a friend and comfort to all who knew her. She was a very giving and selfless person who took care of others. She showed her strength in a quiet calm demoner quietly working to make sure others succeeded.

Her parents preceded her in death. Mary is survived by her husband Brett A Keeseman. Her two daughters Stephanie R Varner and Beverly A Varner (Sam Bundick) of all of Carlisle. Step-daughter Shannon (Matthew) Robinson of Newville. Step-granddaughter Courtney Heinbaugh and her two step-great grandchildren Brentlee and Paysleigh. She was also impatiently awaiting the arrival of her first grandchild. Additionally, Mary is  survived by her sister Anita (Mike) Corica, and brother Kevin Harr of Carlisle.

Mary was an avid outdoorswoman. She enjoyed gardening, working outside, and nature watching while drinking coffee. Another of her favorite activities included going hunting with her husband Brett.

Mary was a very private person who wished not to have a service. She did however request that any donations please be made to the American Cancer Society, 112 Sipe Ave, Hummelstown, PA 17036.

Ronan Funeral Home handled arrangements.
