MARY J. HENCH

Mary J. Hench, 89, of Carlisle passed away one Friday, July 17, 2020 at Claremont Nursing & Rehabilitation Center.

Bron September 28, 1930 in Silver Spring Township, she was the daughter of the late Charles and Margaret (Rice) Holloway. She was the widow of Melvin Hench, Sr.

Mrs. Hench was retired from EconoLodge.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by her son:  Melvin Hench, Jr., brother James Holloway and sisters: Angeline Holloway and Kate Slusser.

Surviving are five sons:  Lee, Jackie and Jay, all of Carlisle; Dennis is Indiana and Clive of Shermans Dale; three brothers: Raymond, Charles and Kenneth Holloway, all of Carlisle; three sisters:  Shirley Sheets of Shermans Dale; Margaret Mitchell and Pauline Wardecker, both of Carlisle;  eight grandchildren, 15 great great grandchildren and three great great great grandchildren.

Graveside services will be held at 2:00 P. M.  Thursday, July 23, 2020 in Westminster Memorial Gardens, Carlisle.  There will be no viewing or visitation. COVID-19 Guidelines regarding social distancing and masks will be followed.
