MARY M. BARRICK

Mary M. Barrick, 83, of Boiling Springs, died Saturday, July 30, 2011 at Chapel Pointe, Carlisle.

Mary was born Feb. 18, 1928 in Carlisle to the late Edward and Annie Garman Witter.  She was the widow of Graham Barrick who died in 1983.

Mrs. Barrick was retired from the Cafeteria of the South Middleton School District.  She had also worked for 40 years and the William's Grove Speedway French Fry Stand. Additionally she had been employed at the former Country Market in Mechanicsburg for 15 years and most recently had worked at the Carlisle Wal-Mart.

She attended Ridge Church of the Brethren, Shippensburg.

Surviving are a daughter:  Betty Eurich and her husband Wayne of Carlisle; a son:  Roy and his wife Beverly, of Carlisle; 3 brothers:  Ray Witter of Texas, Merle Witter of Mechanicsburg and Charles Witter of Newville; 5 sisters:  Alma Quigley of Carlisle, Martha Neff of Shermans Dale, Virginia Dewalt of Carlisle, Betty Nelson of Colorado and Esther Darnnell of West Virginia; 4 grandchildren:  Ryan and Keith Barrick, Amy Baker and Ashley Byers and a great grandson:  Kirk Baker.

Funeral services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Aug. 8, 2011, from the Chapel Pointe Chapel, 770  S. Hanover Street, Carlisle, with the Revs. Earl Stovall and Harold Yeager officiating.  Burial will follow in Westminster Memorial Gardens, Carlisle.  Viewing will be at  Chapel Pointe on  from 12:30 until time of service.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Ronan Funeral Home, 255 York Road, Carlisle to help defray funeral expenses.
