Marjorie Alleman Scialabba Mills, 81, of Boiling Springs died Thursday, May 23, 2013 at Select Specialty Hospital of Camp Hill. She was a brave soldier who struggled with multiple health problems related to kidney disease.

Marge was born on November 21, 1931 in Philadelphia, PA to George M. and Elizabeth (Thomas) Alleman. She lived in Philadelphia until she attended Juniata College in Huntingdon, PA. She graduated in 1952, married in 1954, and remained in Huntingdon, where she lived, worked, and raised her family. She was remarried on Sept 6, 1981 and moved with her husband to the Carlisle area.

Marge taught English Composition at Juniata College, worked as a Realtor and at Kinney Corporation until 1996, when she retired.

Marge was active in two bridge clubs, loved gardening, cooking, classical music, theatre, and reading. She played the piano, loved to golf, studied the Alleman geneology, and was a dedicated Penn State and Philadelphia Eagles football fan.

She was a beloved wife, mother, sister, grandmother, and friend.  Always smiling despite her adversities, Marge will be remembered by her family and friends as a strong, brave, positive, kind, and loving woman.

She was pre-deceased by her brother, George Alleman, who died in 2003 from complications from kidney disease.

She is survived by her husband: Richard Mills of Boiling Springs and her children: Debi Martin-Draude and her spouse, Ken, Lancaster, PA; Susan Price and her husband, Harry, Estero, FL; David Scialabba, Lancaster, PA and by her step children: Craig Mills and his wife, Rachel, Huntingdon, PA;  Scott Mills and his wife Shelly, Cape May Courthouse, NJ, and Christy Clark and her husband, Chris, Huntingdon, PA.

She is also survived by her grand children, Keely Judd, Scranton, PA, Kiel Fisher, Downingtown, PA, and Jordyn Martin, Pittsburgh, PA and her step-grandchildren, Matthew and Brandon Mills, Cape May Courthouse, NJ, Atticus Clark, Huntingdon PA, Meghan Draude Bergman, Kennet Square, PA and Trey Draude,Lancaster, PA. and  by her sister-in-law, Betsy Alleman, Mentor, Ohio.

Memorial Services will be held in Huntingdon, PA at the Abby Church, corner of 6th and Church Streets at 4:00 PM on Friday, May 31, with the Rev. Todd E. Snyder officiating.  Visitation will be at the Abby Church from 3:00 - 4:00 P. M. Further services will be held at the  Ronan Funeral ome, 255 York Rd, Carlisle, PA at 4:00 PM on Saturday, June 1 with the Rev. William E. Pipp officiating.  Visitation from 3:00 - 4:00 P. M. Saturday at the funeral home.
