Leroy F. Kline, 77, of Carlisle, passed away on Saturday, July 18, 2026, at his home.
Born October 16, 1948, in Reading, PA, he was the son of the late Monroe J. and Ida Mae (Rothermel) Kline.
Leroy was a graduate of Reading High School, where he earned the nickname “Crazy Legs” on the Track Team. He virtually attended The Meeting House church in Carlisle.
He was a member of the American Legion, the Moose Lodge, and the Elks in Lewes, DE, where he loved calling bingo. His favorite hobbies included deep-sea fishing, dancing, and singing karaoke. Leroy also enjoyed crafts, particularly light-up Christmas decorations and glow-in-the-dark name plaques.
He worked for Penn Optical in Reading, where he was a supervisor.
Leroy was preceded in death by a brother, Marvin C. Kline, Sr., a grandson, Nathan C. Kline, and a great-grandson, Benjamin N. Kline.
Surviving are his son, Damon Kline, and his wife, Cynthia, of Carlisle; daughter, Jennifer Russell, of Carlisle; two sisters, Agnes S. (Kline), wife of Larry Culpepper of Reading, and Margaret Ann (Kline), wife of Clyde Fegley of Reading. He is also survived by his grandchildren, Tyler, Riley, Emma, Evelyn, and Gavin, as well as nieces and nephews.
Services will be private at the convenience of the family.
