JOSEPH R. BROWN

Joseph R. Brown, 64, of Carlisle, passed away peacefully on May 28, 2024 at Golden Living Center of the West Shore.

Born July 13, 1959 in McComb, MS he was the son of the late Willie T. Brown And Ruby (Magee) Brown.

Joe was retired from Carlisle Syntec. He was a 1977 graduate of McComb High School and was a member of Shiloh Missionary Baptist Church, Carlisle, where he sang in the men’s choir and sanctuary choir.

Surviving are his wife: Vanessa (Manning) Brown, two sons: Marcus and Joseph Brown, Il, both of Carlisle. He is also survived by sisters: Pamela Brown (Romalice Burris), Emma Wheeler  both of Mississippi, Janice Brown of Dallas TX ,and Helen Mack, brothers Thomas Brown of Carlisle, Otis Brown of Gulf Port MS, Additionally he is survived by sisters in law Linda Manning, Phyllis Wallace and Barbara Carpenter, all of Carlisle as well as a host of nieces and nephews.

Joseph is preceeded in death by his parents Willie T. Brown, Ruby Lee Brown, siblings Red Brown, Robert Brown, Artis Brown, Mervin Brown, Julius Brown. 

There will be a memorial service held at Shiloh Missionary Baptist Church on June 6th at 11am officiating Rev. Sylvester Brown followed by graveside service at Cumberland Valley Memorial Gardens.
