JOHN F. SELDERS
John F. Selders, 76, of Carlisle, died Wednesday, December 21, 2016 in the Carlisle Regional Medical Center.
Born May 20, 1940 in Williamsport, he was a son of the late Thomas and Dorothea (Graham) Selders.
Mr. Selders was a retired truck driver from Super Value Foods. He loved to camp and to watch football.
John was a U. S. Marine Corps veteran.
He was preceded in death by a grandson: Corey Troy and a brother in law: Max Burger.
Surviving are his wife: Shirley (Hamilton) Selders, whom he married March 10, 1978; children: Christina (Blane) Trump of Carlisle; Bill (Diane) Bower of Milton; Charles (Eva) Bower of Muncy; Michelle (Raymond) Sheleman of Williamsport; sister: Nancy Burger of York; grandchildren: Alan (Sarah) Oliver, Jr. of Harrisburg, Jason Bower of Muncy and Ariel (Brian) Muhs of Muncy.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A. M. Monday, December 26, 2016 from the Ronan Funeral Home, 255 York Road, Carlisle with Pastor Steve Shirk officiating. Viewing will be at the funeral home on Monday from 10:00 A. M. until time of service.
