John A. Kalinay

John A. Kalinay, 81 years old from Carlisle Pa, passed on 10-16-2023. He was born in Mutual, Pa, son of Dorothy Gungo and John Kalinay. John was a Marine veteran and worked for Wilson freight, Pilot freight, and CF trucking for 35 years. He was preceded in death by his parents Dorothy and John, his sisters Teresa Patterchak, and Mary Polcha. He is survived by his wife of 59 years, Susan Kalinay, his 2 sons John and Vaughn Kalinay, his daughter Dana Taylor, their spouses, 6 grandchildren, 5 step grandchildren, all their spouses, 2 great grandchildren and 3 step great grandchildren, and sisters Libby Catalano and Vicky Swiderski. 

John  enjoyed traveling with his wife, Susan., Wintering in Texas and Florida, watching the Steelers and NASCAR. But most of all, he enjoyed spending time with his family. 

John was a member of Saint Patrick’s Catholic Church in Carlisle Pa.
