JOAN E. KELLER
Joan E. (Schubauer) Keller, 70, of Carlisle, went home to be with her Lord on Thursday, October 2, 2014. She passed peacefully at home.
Born October 15, 1943 in Harrisburg, she was a daughter of the late Charles and Claire (Manley) Schubauer.
Mrs. Keller was a graduate of Central Dauphin High School and had been the bookkeeper for Carlisle Auto Salvage. She was a member of Bible Baptist Church, Shiremanstown.
She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother to her family.
She was preceded in death by a grandson, Benjamin Gardner.
Surviving are her husband: Wayne; two daughters: Kimberly Gardner of Carlisle and Kathy Ballew of Shermans Dale; two sons: Scott Keller of Carlisle and Randall Keller of Mechanicsburg; a sister: Claire Espeland of Millersburg; four brothers: Charles Schubauer of Carlisle; Walter Schubauer of Palmyra; Robert Schubauer of South Carolina and Ronald Schubauer of Carlisle. She was also a loving Grammy to 10 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 12 Noon on Tuesday, October 7, 2014 from the Ronan Funeral Home, 255 York Road, Carlisle. Burial will be in Snyder’s United Methodist Cemetery, Shermans Dale. Viewing will be at the funeral home on Tuesday from 11:00 A. M. until time of service.
