JACOB MARKEL

Jacob Markel, infant son of Sean Markel and Olivia Mullin, died Sunday, Oct. 23, 2011 in the M. S. Hershey Medical Center, where he had been  a patient since his birth on April 14, 2011.

Surviving in addition to his parents are two sisters:  Breyona and Eilee Markel, both at home; paternal grandparents:  Nina and Kevin Markel of Carlisle; maternal grandparents: Deb and Tim Bricker of Newville; maternal great grandmother:  Lynne Houck of Newville, paternal great great grandmother:  Eileen Markel of Carlisle; maternal great great grandmother:  Nancy Bowen of Newville and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.

Funeral services will be held at 3:00 p.m. Friday, Oct. 28, 2011 from the Ronan Funeral Home, 255 York Road, Carlisle with Rev. Canon Mark A. Scheneman officiating.  Visitation will be at the funeral home on Friday from 2:00 - 3:00 p.m.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Children’s Hospital of the M.S. Hershey Medical Center, Hershey, Pa 17033.
