GERALD B. “JERRY” RICE

Gerald B. “Jerry” Rice, 70, of Landisburg, passed away on September 6, 2023 at home.

Jerry was born February 2, 1953 in Carlisle the son of the late Benjamin and Chio (Tiara) Rice.

He was a graduate of West Perry High School and was retired from the Painters & Paperhangers Union 411 where he worked as a painter.

He was preceded in death by a son Jared Rice and a brother Frankie Rice.

Surviving are his wife of 45 years, Debra A. (DePuy) Rice, two daughters: Kim Rice (Doug) of Liverpool and Jodi Rice (Roman Hasuik) of Philadelphia.  Also surviving are two sisters: Sandy Comly ( deceased husband Jim) of Camp Hill and Susie Moyer (Rodney) of Doylestown, former daughter in law Rachelle Aune and grandchildren: Devin Rice, Roman Hasuik, Umi Hasuik, Jared Rice, Jr. and Bayleigh Timmons.

Graveside services will be held on Friday, September 15, 2023 at 11:00 AM in the Landisburg Cemetery with Pastor  Sandy Baney officiating.  A public luncheon will follow at The Sportsman’s Inn, Rt 34, Shermans Dale.

Arrangements are being handled by the Ronan Funeral Home, Carlisle.
