GARY P. GEORGE
Gary P. George, 67, of Carlisle and formerly of Camp Hill, died Friday, March 28, 2014 in the Claremont Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, Carlisle.
Born July 24, 1946 in Mechanicsburg, he was a son of Arthur C. George, Sr., and the late Joyce L. (King) George.
Gary had been employed by SGL Abrasives, now Cincinnati Milacron, Carlisle. He was a U S Army veteran of the Vietnam War.
He was also preceded in death by a brother: Darryl George.
Surviving in addition to his father are a brother: Arthur C. George, Jr., of Nevada; two sisters: Lorraine Hileman of Shippensburg and Donna McGowan of Newville; and a daughter: Athena George of Enola.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A. M. Tuesday, April 2, 2014 from the Ronan Funeral Home, 255 York Road, Carlisle, with the Rev. William E. Pipp officiating. Private burial will be in Cumberland Valley Memorial Gardens, Carlisle. Visitation will be at the funeral home on Tuesday from 10:00 a. m. until time of service.
