FREDA G. DILLMAN

 Freda G. Dillman, 96, of Carlisle, left this world and joined her heavenly Father on December 24, 2024 at Celebration Villa, Shippensburg.

 She was born October 4, 1928 at New Germantown, PA to the late Edward and Laura (Barrrick) Dillman.

 Freda was a 1946 graduate of Blain Vocational High School and a 1947 graduate of Carlisle Commercial College. She retired as an accountant from the former C H Masland Carpet in Carlisle and then worked for Farmer’s Trust Co.

 She liked to play the piano and organ. She was the organist at her church, Hickorytown United Methodist Church, Carlisle. Early in her life she liked to paint scenes on old tin household items and grow flowers.

 Freda was the family genealogist and had recently completed a history of the descendants of Edward Cleveland and Laura Ellena Dillman. She was an accomplished photographer and took many photographs. She was also a member of the Perry County Historical Society.

 She was preceded in death by three brothers: James, Harold and Marlin and five sisters: Janet Matthews, Tessie Otto, Dorothy Jeffries, Louise Johnson and Mary Jane Laidig.

 Surviving is a nephew: Marlin Dillman of New Germantown.

 Funeral services will be held on Monday, December 30, 2024 at 11:00 AM from the Ronan Funeral Home, 255 York Road, Carlisle. Burial will follow in Blain Cemetery. Viewing will be at the funeral home on Monday from 10:00 AM until time of service.
