Elizabeth Minerva Beam, 83, of Enola, died Monday, Oct. 18, 2010 in Holy Spirit Hospital.
Born Sept. 4, 1927 in Carlisle, she was a daughter of the late Carl J. and Elizabeth G. Roth Adams.
She was retired from the Willa Glen Retirement Home, San Jose CA, where she was an administrative assistant.
A graduate of Carlisle High School, she then attended Dickinson College and volunteered for the Dolphin Program at Claremont Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, Carlisle.
She was a member of Carlisle Reformed Presbyterian Church.
Surviving are two daughters: Susan Martin of Shippensburg and Beth Thacker of Port Angeles, WA; a son: Carl Scherzer of Corona CA; five grandchildren and 1 great grandchild.
Graveside services will be held at 2:30 P. M. Friday, Oct. 22, 2010 in Westminster Memorial Gardens, Carlisle.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be directed to Carlisle Reformed Presbyterian Church, 14 Westminster Drive, Carlisle, Pa 17013.
