DONALD E. WHEELER

Donald E. Wheeler, 85, of Carlisle, died unexpectedly on Thursday, December 12, 2013.

Born August 14, 1928 in Newville, he was a son of the late Russell and Barbara (Hassler) Wheeler.

Mr. Wheeler was a graduate of the former Newville High School and was a lifelong farmer.  He was a member of the Carlisle Brethren in Christ Church.

He was the last of his immediate family.

Surviving are his wife of nearly 63 years:  Marie (Raudabaugh) Wheeler; a daughter:  Susan Kaucher of Carlisle; three grandchildren:  Tristan Walters of Boiling Springs, Joshua Walters of Harrisburg and Noah Kaucher of Carlisle;  four great grandchildren:  Cynciere Walters, Kyleigha Walters, Rylee Prior and Maxen Walters.

Funeral services will be held at 12 Noon on Tuesday, December 17, 2013 from the Carlisle Brethren in Christ Church, 1155 Walnut Bottom Road, Carlisle.  Burial will be in Mt. Zion Cemetery, Boiling Springs.  Viewings will be at the church on Monday, December 16 from 6:00 P. M. until 8:00 P. M. and also on Tuesday from 11:00 A. M. until time of service.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Carlisle Brethren in Christ Church, 1155 Walnut Bottom Road, Carlisle, Pa 17015.
