DUNCANNON: Dannie W. DeBiase, 82, was raised in Duncannon and formerly of Mechanicsburg, died January 7, 2026 at home in Lexington, SC.
Dannie was born Oct 29, 1943 to the late David J. and Ann (Cummings) DeBiase.
He was a 1962 graduate of Susquenita High School. Dannie was of the Catholic faith. He was a Vietnam War veteran, having served from March 1965 to December 1966. His basic combat training was at Fort Gordon, GA.
His military occupational specialty was an ammunition specialist. He worked at PA State Department and then for 26 years enjoyed his employment at UPS as a delivery driver and then he joined the management team. He enjoyed golf, hunting, motorcycle rallies and cross country trips, car shows and attended many NASCAR races to watch his favorite, Jeff Gordon.
Surviving is his loving wife, Deborah S. (Nickel) DeBiase, a daughter Danielle (husband Walter) Harper, his grandchildren, who always enjoyed their visits, Chloe, Wally and Chipper. Also surviving are a brother, David DeBiase, two sisters, Lorretta Donovan, and Sharron (husband Tom) Jones and many nieces and nephews.
Memorial services will be held on Saturday, January 17, 2026 in the Duncannon VFW Post 255 , 77 S Main Street, Duncannon, PA 17020 at 1:00 PM with Pastor Josh Craley, officiating. Following the service from 2-4 PM a fellowship luncheon will be served during a visitation.
