CLARENCE C. HAIR, JR.

Clarence C. “ Jim” Hair, Jr., 84, of Carlisle, died unexpectedly on Sunday, April 10, 2016.

Born May 17, 1931 in Carlisle, he was a son of the late Clarence C. Hair, Sr. and   Anna (Schmohl) Hair.

Jim was a life-long farmer.

He was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church, New Kingstown and the Good Shepherd Sunday School Class. Jim was a founding member of the Middlesex Sportsmen Club.

He was preceded in death by a daughter, Judy Bookwalter and granddaughter, Michele Koser.

Jim is survived by his loving wife of 62 years:  Helen E. (Nailor) Hair with whom he would have celebrated their 63rd Wedding Anniversary on April 11th. Also surviving are his children:  Ricky Hair (wife Doris), Dixie (husband Bob) Koser, Randy Hair and Jody (husband David) Noss, all of Carlisle; 11 Grandchildren, nine Great Grandchildren and several Step-grandchildren.

Memorial services will be held at 11:00 A. M. Thursday, April  14, 2016 at Trinity United Methodist Church, 4 W. Main St., New Kingstown, Pa, with the Revs.  Eric L. Funk and Joseph L. Kugle officiating.  Burial will be in LeTort Cemetery, Carlisle.  Visitation will be at the church on Thursday from 9:30 A. M. until time of service.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Trinity United Methodist Church, P O Box 26, New Kingstown, Pa 17072.

Jim received wonderful care from Fresenius Medical Care Dialysis Center, Cumberland Crossings and Lifecare Hospitals of Mechanicsburg.
