CLARA M. REINHEIMER

Clara M. Reinheimer, 88, formerly of Boiling Springs, died Saturday, May 11, 2013 at Cumberland Crossings, Carlisle.

Born December 1, 1924 in Germania, Potter County, Pa, she was a daughter of the late Charles J. and Theresa K. (Straley) Reinheimer.

She was a retired elementary school teacher, having taught in the Hyndman schools for five years and the balance of her career in the West Shore School District.  She retired in 1983.

Clara was a1947 graduate of the former Shippensburg State Teachers College,no Shippensburg University.  She was a member of the PSEA, NEA, PASR and Cumberland County PASR.

Clara was one of the oldest members of St. John Evangelical Lutheran Church, Boiling Springs.  She was also a Girl Scout Leader for over 20 years.

She was preceded in death by a brother:  Roy C. Reinheimer and two sisters:  Mary R. Hawkins and Ruth R. Pollard.

Surviving are a brother in law:  George Pollard of Kasilof, Alaska, two nephews and three great nieces.

Memorial services will be held at 11:00 A. M. Monday, May 20, 2013 in St. John Evangelical Lutheran Church, 111 Walnut St., Boiling Springs with her pastor, the Rev. Carolyn S. DeStephano, officiating.  Burial will be in Springville Cemetery at 10:00 A. M. Monday.  Visitation will follow the service in the church.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the Organ Fund of St. John Lutheran Church, P O Box 46, Boiling Springs, Pa 17007 or the Child Evangelism Fellowship of Cumberland County, 150 Fairview Drive, Carlisle, Pa 17015.
