BUEL E. CHANDLER

Buel E. Chandler “Bo”,  65, of Carlisle, passed away peacefully at home on Saturday, March 2, 2024.

Born in Bath, ME on July 13, 1958 he was the son of Paul and Evelyn (Doiron) Chandler of Carlisle.

Buel was retired from the Federal Government where he worked as a Systems Analyst.

Bo attended the University of Southern Maine, received his B.S. degree from Penn State and his Master’s in Mathematics from Shippensburg University.  He was a member of Phi Mu Delta Fraternity, the Nuxi Chapter. Bo held memberships at the Carlisle Club, Fraternal Order of Eagles Aerie #1299 and the AmVets.

Bo was an avid hiker, reader, ice climber and loved to play war games.  He had a love for horror and detective novels. Bo was a lover of music, especially Pink Floyd and recently took up teaching himself piano and guitar.

Surviving in addition to his parents are his companion: Anne, a daughter Alicia Chandler and a son Gunnar Chandler, all of Carlisle, a sister Renee’ Chandler of Mineral, VA.  Also surviving are four grandchildren: Oakley and Calvin White, Honor Ayers, and Alex Chandler.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held at King’s Gap Environmental Center on Saturday, April 13, 2024 from 12-4 P. M. Please wear your favorite band t-shirt.
