BARBARA MONISMITH

Barbara Monismith, 58, of Carlisle, passed away on Wednesday, May 7, 2025 at UPMC Carlisle.

Born April 1, 1968 in Carlisle, she was the daughter of George W. Monismith of New Cumberland and Barbara A. (Deihl) Sheaffer of Carlisle.

Barb had been previously been employed as a sales clerk for the Salvation Army stores and also had a love for interior design.

She loved arts and crafts and music, especially Tupac, Biggie and Michael Jackson. She frequently attended Bible Way Hibner Church of God in Christ, Carlisle.

Surviving in addition to her parents are a son: Juston Jones of Carlisle, a brother: Wayne L. Monismith, step brother Shane Sheaffer of Carlisle, step father Wayne Sheaffer of Carlisle as well as several other step brothers and step sisters.

Funeral services will be held on Monday, May 12, 2025 at 11:00 AM from the Ronan Funeral Home, 255 York Road, Carlisle with the Rev. Richard Reese officiating. Burial will follow in Waggoner’s Cemetery, Carlisle. A viewing will be held from 10-11 AM on Monday at the funeral home.
