B. Marlene Billman, 93, of Carlisle, peacefully passed into the arms of her Savior on Thursday, May 14, 2026, at Chapel Pointe at Carlisle.
Born on March 4, 1933, in Mechanicsburg, she was the daughter of the late George D. and Mary C. (Shur) Hosler. Marlene was the beloved wife of the late Edward L. Billman.
Marlene dedicated many years to serving her community as a cook for the Carlisle Area School District. A woman of deep and enduring faith, she was a devoted member of Faith Chapel in Carlisle, where she taught children’s Sunday School for decades. Her passion for ministry also shone through her extensive involvement with Child Evangelism Fellowship and her regular, comforting visits to local nursing home residents. Above all, Marlene’s greatest joy in life was her family.
She was preceded in death by her son, Timothy B. Billman and eight brothers and sisters.
Marlene’s legacy lives on through her children: Kelley R. Merris (Curtis) of Carlisle, Kevin S. Billman of Carlisle, and Curtis A. Billman (Ami) of Manassas, VA. She is also survived by four cherished grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
