ANNA MAE LINN

Anna Mae Linn, 93, of Carlisle, passed away peacefully at home on Thursday, September 30, 2021.

Born November 14, 1927 in Berrysburg, PA, she was the daughter of the late Homer and Elva (Weaver) Lenker.  Anna Mae was the widow of John S. Linn who died August 11, 2010.

Anna Mae had worked as a file clerk for USF&G Insurance.  She had also been employed at Capital Area Intermediate Unit.

Anna Mae was formerly active in the Gratz Historical Society, the Upper Paxton Twp. Historical Society and was a former member of Peace United Church of Christ, Berrysburg and the Pythian Sisters, Churchtown.

She enjoyed photography, painting, genealogy, reading and bird watching.

Anna Mae was the oldest living member of Mt. Zion Lutheran Church, Boiling Springs.

She was preceded in death by a sister:  Geraldine Shaffer.

Surviving are two sons:  John W. Linn of Mechanicsburg and James Linn of Carlisle; a sister: Jean Ziegler (Homer); five grandchildren and five great grandchildren.

Graveside services will be at 10:00 AM Monday, October 11, 2021 in Mt. Zion Cemetery, Boiling Springs, with the Rev. Deborah L. Brumbaugh officiating.
