Anna Doner

ANNA PEARL DONER

Anna Pearl Doner (nee Cranston), 102, of Carlisle, Pa and formerly of Ann Arbor, MI, died Sunday, June 30, 2013 in the Church of God Home, Carlisle.

Born August 24, 1910 in Fenton, MI, she was a daughter of the late Osee and Mary (Trollman) Cranston.  She was the widow of Oliver Doner who died in March 1991 and whom she married in December 1944.

Mrs. Doner was a Registered Nurse, having served her entire career at St. Joseph Mercy Hospital.

She was a graduate of the Mercy School of Nursing (U-D Mercy).  Mrs. Doner was a founding member of St. Francis of Assisi Parish, Ann Arbor.

She was preceded in death by a sister:  Ruth Vincent of Fenton.

Surviving are a daughter:  Mary Winslow (Mrs. Richard) of Carlisle, Pa.; two grandchildren and two great grandchildren.

Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at     A. M. on Tuesday, July 9, 2013 from St. Francis of Assisi Roman Catholic Church, 2250 E. Stadium Blvd., Ann Arbor.  Burial will follow in St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church Cemetery, Fenton.  There will be no viewing or visitation.
