ANCEL LEE AXSOM

Ancel Lee Axsom, 92, of the Masonic Village at Elizabethtown, passed away on Monday, February 12, 2018 at the Village.

Born Nov 11, 1925 in Bloomington, IN, he was the son of the late John V. and Sarah Inez (Allen) Axiom.  He was the widower of Lois M. Axsom who died Feb. 26, 2015.

Mr. Axsom was a retired purchasing manager for General Electric.

He was a graduate of Indiana University at Bloomington.

Mr. Axsom honorably served his country in the U S Army during World War II and received the Bronze Star.

Surviving are three sons:  Ronald Axsom of Carlisle; Keith Axiom of Hightstown, NJ and Daryl Axsom of Odessa, FL; a daughter:  Marla Axsom of Naples, FL; 7 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.

Services will be private.

Ronan Funeral Home, Carlisle, is handling arrangements.
