SALLY WALTERS

Sally Walters,72, of Mechanicsburg and formerly of Newville, entered eternal rest on Thursday, March 13 , 2008.

Born Sept 6, 1935 in Newburg, she was a daughter of the late Eugene and Blanche Kelso Stoey.

Mrs. Walters was a homemaker, wonderful mother and wife.

She was preceded in death by three sisters: Eleanor VanScyoc, Betty Landis and Frances Asper and two brothers: Harold and Edgar Stoey.

Surviving are her husband of 55 years, Edward; two sons: Gary of Mechanicsburg and Mark (and his wife Marina) of Plainfield; a daughter: Cathy Macurak (and her husband Rich) of Mechanicsburg; one grandson: Evan Macurak (and his wife Erica); a brother: Paul Stoey of Newburg; and two sisters: Geraldine Loose of Carlisle and Ann Kepner of Newville.

Family and friends are respectfully invited to attend her funeral service at 12 noon on Wednesday, March 19, 2008 from the Ronan Funeral Home, 255 York Road, Carlisle. The Rev. Kenneth M. Waggoner will officiate. Burial will be in Cumberland Valley Memorial Gardens. The family will receive family and friends at the funeral home on Wednesday from 11 a.m. until time of service.
