MICHAEL JOHN RICHARDS

Michael John Richards, 40, of 966 Pennsylvania Avenue, Harrisburg, died Tuesday, January 17, 2006.

Born November 7, 1965 in Reading, he was a son of Michael J. Richards of Berks County and Rosemarie Zasztowt Richards Clapp of Boiling Springs.

Mike had served in the US Army and was employed as a forklift operator for Arnold Logistics.

He was also an EMT and Firefighter with the Hampden Township Volunteer Fire Company for over 25 years.

Surviving in addition to his parents are a son: Michael Richards of Fairmont, NC; a daughter: Amanda Keener of Manchester; a sisters: Amy Cole of Carlisle; a brother: David Richards of Quarryville; two step brothers: Robert Clapp of Boiling Springs and David Clapp of Lancaster; his step father: Robert Clapp of Boiling Springs; an uncle: Frank Z. Ryan of Las Vegas, NV and several nieces and nephews.

Memorial services will be held at 7:00 pm Wednesday, January 25, 2006 from the Capital Area Christian Church, 1775 Lambs Gap Road, Mechanicsburg with Pastor Don Hamilton officiating. Burial will be private. There will be no viewing or visitation.
