RAY W. KITNER

Ray W. Kitner, 78, of 3174 Spring Road, Carlisle, died Thursday, June 8, 2006 in Manor Care Health Services, Carlisle.

Born August 10, 1927, he was a son of the late Jessie and Jean Marie Hockenberry Kitner.

Mr. Kitner was a retired welder from Frog, Switch and Manufacturing Company, Carlisle. He was a US Army veteran of World War II and Korea.

He was a member of the Mt. Holly Springs VFW, the White Circle Club and Eagles Aerie #1299, Carlisle.

Surviving are his wife: Angeline M. Holloway Kitner; 2 daughters: Judy Turner of Kentucky and Lynda Rebert of Carlisle; 2 sons: Rodney Kitner of Newburg and Roger Kitner of Mt. Holly Springs; a sister: Betty Jones of Carlisle; 9 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, June 10, 2006 from the Ronan Funeral Home, 255 York Road, Carlisle with the Rev. Darrel R. Justh officiating. Burial will be in Mt. Gilead Cemetery, Perry County. Viewing will be at the funeral home on Saturday from 10-11 a.m.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Manor Care Health Services, 940 Walnut Bottom Road, Carlisle, Pa 17013.
