ROBERT M. CAROLUS

Robert M. Carolus, 87, of Carlisle, died Friday, Aug. 3, 2007 in the Forest Park Health Center, Carlisle.

A son of the late Samuel and Mary McNeer Carolus, he was born July 31, 1920 in Lewistown.

Mr. Carolus was retired from the Pennsylvania Railroad, Enola Yards, where he had worked as an electrician.

He was the widower of Bernice I. Bubb Carolus, whom he married May 26, 1945.

Surviving are a daughter: Nancy Wise of Newville; a brother: Leroy Carolus and a sister: Kathryn Mitchell, both of Parkesburg, Pa; 5 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by 4 brothers and 3 sisters.

Funeral services will be held at 11:30 a. m. Wednesday, Aug. 8, 2007 from the Ronan Funeral Home, 255 York Road, Carlisle. The Rev. Daniel R. Mikesell will officiate. Burial will be in Cumberland Valley Memorial Gardens. Viewing will be at the funeral home on Wednesday from 11:00 a.m. until time of service.
