LEO H. KOZIER

Leo H. Kozier, 77 of Boiling Springs, and formerly of Creighton, Pa, died Wed., Feb. 27, 2008 in ManorCare Health Services, Carlisle.
A son of the late William and Eleanor Leja Kozier, he was born Nov. 15, 1930 in Creighton.
A 1948 graduate of East Deer Frazier High School, Mr. Kozier was a US Army veteran of the Korean War.
He was a member of St. Patrick Catholic Church, Carlisle, the Mt. Holly Springs Golden Age Club and the MORA Club, Carlisle.
He was employed in the Maintenance Department of PPG Industries for over 44 years, having started at the original PPG plant in Creighton before moving to Boiling Springs to work at the Carlisle plant.
He was preceded in death by 4 sisters: Helen Kozier, Bessie Fink, Josephine Powell and Evelyn Walz and five brothers: Walter, Paul, Michael, John and Henry.
Surviving are his wife of 55 years: Betty Chertik Kozier; two daughters: Nanette (wife of William Craig) Tomlinson of Charlotte, NC and Cindy Kozier of Boiling Springs; two sisters: Clara Santarlasci of Creighton and Katharyn Cropcho of Lower Burrell; two grandsons: Eric and Steven Tomlinson, whom Pap Pap loved very much; and many nieces and nephews.
Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 A. M. Mon. March 3, 2008 from St. Patrick Roman Catholic Church, 87 Marsh Drive, Carlisle. The Rev. William C. Forrey will be the celebrant. Burial will follow in St. Patrick Catholic Cemetery. Viewing will be at the Ronan Funeral Home, 255 York Road, Carlisle on Sunday from 6-8 p.m., with recitation of the Rosary at 7:30 p.m.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Patrick Church, 140 E. Pomfret St., Carlisle, Pa 17013.
