GLEN M. JUNK
Glen M. Junk, 85, of Gardners, died Thurs. Feb. 14, 2008 in the Claremont Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, Carlisle.
Born January 16, 1923 in Honey Grove, Pa, he was a son of the late Jesse and Zola McClure Junk. He was the widower of Florence L. Rice Junk who died May 6, 2000.
Mr. Junk was a retired carpenter with Carpenters Local #287. He was a US Army veteran of World War II.
He was a member of Mt. Holly Springs Church of God, Carpenters Local #214 Retirees Club #87 and Union Lodge #324, F&AM, Mifflintown.
Surviving are his companion: Martha Scherb; a son: Carl G. Junk of Tucson, AZ; three daughters: Evelyn F. Eshelman of Gardners, Beverly A. Shover of Aspers and Donna K. Brewster of Dillsburg; a sister: Iva Book of Mifflintown; nine grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend his funeral from the Ronan Funeral Home, 255 York Road, Carlisle on Tues. Feb. 19, 2008 at 1:30 P. M. , where Masonic Services will be conducted by Cumberland Star Lodge #197 F&AM at 1:00 P. M. The Rev. Richard Reese will officiate and burial will follow in Cumberland Valley Memorial Gardens.
