ELMER L. BARRICK

Elmer L. Barrick, 68, of 13 High Street, Boiling Springs, died Friday, March 17, 2006 at home.

A son of the late Roy Elmer and Viola Mae Killinger Barrick, he was born October 26, 1937 in Carlisle.

Mr. Barrick was a retired skilled laborer in the construction industry and had served in the Pennsylvania National Guard.

He attended Great Hope Baptist Church, Carlisle and was a member of the Williams Grove and South Mountain Steam Engine Associations. He enjoyed deep sea fishing, camping and racing.

He was preceded in death by three brothers.

Surviving are his wife: Janet Tate Barrick; three sons: Elmer L. (Brenda) Barrick, Jr. of Dillsburg; Rick (Jennifer) Barrick of York Springs and Larry (Vicki) Barrick of Boiling Springs; two daughters: Robin (Scott) Hermansen of Carlisle and Roxanne Sarber of Boiling Springs; a sister: Mary Ritter of Carlisle and 12 grandchildren.

Private funeral services will be held from the Ronan Funeral Home, 255 York Road, Carlisle with the Rev. Dale E. Barrick officiating. Burial will be in Idaville Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial contributions to the Great Hope Baptist Church, 110 Fern Avenue, Carlisle, Pa 17013.
