MAX L. BUTCH CORNMAN
Max L. Butch Cornman, 65, of 91 Beagle Club Road, Carlisle, died Sunday, Oct. 29, 2006 at home.
Born March 9, 1942 in Carlisle, he was a son of the late Max L. and Pauline Bolen Cornman. He was raised by the late Charles and Grace Foote.
Mr. Cornman retired from H. B. Alexander Construction Company after 30 years of service.
He attended Carlisle High School and was a life member of the White Circle Club, Carlisle. He was also a 30 year member of Laborers Union Local 1180. He loved hunting and fishing.
He was preceded in death by a son: James L. Cornman and a daughter: Deborah Cornman.
Surviving are his wife of 46 years: Ann Hair Cornman; a son: Timothy W. Cornman and his wife Teresa W. and a granddaughter: Heather N. Cornman, all of York Haven; a step- grandson: Randy M. Shockney and step-greatgrandson: Randy M. Shockney, Jr., both of York County; 2 brothers: Paul Cornman of Harrisburg and Allen Cornman of Adams County; 3 sisters: Carolyn Weigel of York Haven; Darlene Grimes of Newville and Linda Oyler of Mt. Holly Springs; and longtime extended family member Troy Brenneman of Pittsburgh.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am Thursday, Nov. 2, 2006 from the Ronan Funeral Home, 255 York Road, Carlisle, with the Rev. Robert Gray officiating. Burial will be in Cumberland Valley Memorial Gardens. Viewing will be at the funeral home on Thursday from 10-11 am.
