DOROTHY H. CASTLE

Dorothy H. Castle, 88, of 1291 Leidigh Drive, Mechanicsburg, went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, November, 2, 2005 in the Church of God Home, Carlisle.

Born June 18, 1917 in Perry County, she was a daughter of the late Alfred and Matilda Leinaweaver Hultzapple. She was the widow of Alfred W. Castle, Jr., who died in 1971.

Mrs. Castle was retired from the former Book of the Month Club, Mechanicsburg.

She was a member of St. John Evangelical Lutheran Church, Boiling Springs, where she had been a faithful choir member for many years.

She was also a member of the Boiling Springs Golden Age Club and loved to travel. She enjoyed spending time with her neighbors and caring for her grandchildren and great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by a brother: Alfred Hultzapple and a sister: Jean Squibb.

Surviving are a son: Alfred W. "Bill" Castle, III and his wife, Cynthia, of Mechanicsburg; 3 daughters: Patricia J. Wilson of Carlisle; Penelope C. Ginter and Pamela S. Wilcox, both of Mechanicsburg; two sisters: Katherine Kauffman of Lewistown and Martha Hamilton of Chambersburg; 9 grandchildren: Kendra L. Santoleri, Adrienne L. Auchey, A. W. Castle, IV, Peter V. Castle, Amy K. Falk, Kirk D. Wilcox, J. Wesley Wilcox, Laura M. Castle and Lucas A. Wilson and 11 great grandchildren: Matthew Ginter, Emilia and Dominic Santoleri, Cassandra and Matthew Falk, Kyla and Katrina Wilcox, Colin Castle, A. W. Castle, V, Michael A. Castle and John Alexander "Jack" Castle.

Liturgy of Christian Burial will celebrated at 11:00 A. M. Saturday, November 5, 2005 from St. John Lutheran Church, 111 Walnut Street, Boiling Springs with the Rev. Carolyn S. DeStephano officiating. Burial will be in Mt. Zion Cemetery, Boiling Springs. There will be no viewing, however, the family will receive relatives and friends at the church on Saturday beginning at 10:00 A. M.
