BONNIE H. ROSE
Bonnie H. Rose, 65, of Carlisle, died Wed. Aug. 22, 2007 the Carlisle Regional Medical Center.

A daughter of Dorothy Penner Miller of Hanover and the late Vnaldra D. Hockenberry, she was born August 29, 1941 in Carlisle.

Mrs. Rose was retired from Leer Corp., Carlisle and was the widow of Robert L. Rose, Sr.

She was an avid NASCAR Fan and followed both Dale Earnhardt Sr. and Dale Earnhardt Jr.

Surviving are a son: Robert L. Rose, Jr., of Springfield, MO; 3 daughters: Jody L. Whistler of Newburg; Cindy Darr of Boiling Springs and Brenda Rose of Carlisle; a brother: Vnaldra D. Hockenberry of Indiana; two sisters: Sonya Oliveria and Sharyn Stum, both of Carlisle; 6 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at 7:00 pm Friday, August 24, 2007 from the Ronan Funeral Home, 255 York Road, Carlisle, with the Rev. Daniel R. Mikesell officiating. Burial will be private. Viewing will be at the funeral home on Friday from 6-7 pm.
