Lynn A. Ronan
Funeral Director
Lynn is a lifelong resident of the Carlisle area. Graduating from Boiling Springs High School in 1980, he continued his education at Juniata College in Huntingdon, Pa, graduating with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Health Sciences in 1984. He then attended the Pittsburgh Institute of Mortuary Science, graduating in 1985. He has been licensed in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania since 1987. Lynn is active in the community where he serves on the Boards of the Letort Cemetery Association and Mt. Zion Cemetery at Churchtown, Inc., is a member of the Boiling Springs Lions Club and serves as the organist for Mt. Zion Lutheran Church, Boiling Springs (Churchtown). Lynn is also an Eagle Scout from Troop 171 in Boiling Springs and is a member of the Order of the Arrow.He has rejoined the Scouting program as an adult leader, as he helps his sons attain their Eagle rank. His professional memberships include the National Funeral Directors Association, the Pennsylvania Funeral Directors Association and the Capital City Funeral Directors Association, where he currently serves as Secretary. Lynn is a member of St. John Lutheran Church, Boiling Springs where he has served on Church Council and the Worship Committee. He is also a member of Cumberland Star Lodge #197 F& AM. and was a member of the Carlisle Chapter of the Order of DeMolay. Prior to opening the Ronan Funeral Home in 1996, Lynn had been associated with several funeral homes in Central Pennsylvania. He is married to the former Sherry Capello and has three children.

Sherry L. Ronan
Office Administrator
Sherry is a native of Steelton, Dauphin County. She is a graduate of Steelton-Highspire High School and prior to the opening of Ronan Funeral Home was employed in the private sector. Sherry is a member of St. John Lutheran Church, Boiling Springs and is involved in the Carlisle Area Mothers of Multiples. She divides her time between the funeral home and caring for her three children.

Staff Assistant (Unlicensed)
Bill is a lifelong Carlisle area resident, has been married to the former Geraldine Snook for 50 years and is the father of Lynn and Brian. He is a graduate of Carlisle High School and was employed at the Mechanicsburg Naval Depot for 42 years. He is a US Army Air Corps Veteran of World War II. Bill is a member of the Boiling Springs Lions Club and is a member and Past Master of Cumberland Star Lodge #197 F&AM, Carlisle. He is also a member of St. John Lutheran Church, Boiling Springs, where he has served on Church Council and numerous committees. In 2005 Bill received the Melvin Jones award, Lionism's highest award for dedication and service to Lionism. He is also a past Scoutmaster of Troop 171 in Boiling Springs and was priveleged to be the Scoutmaster when both of his sons received their Eagle Scout rank.

Gerry Ronan

Gerry is a graduate of Mechanicsburg High School and Dickinson College where she received a Bachelor of Science Degree in Political Science. She is a member of St. John Lutheran Church, Boiling Springs. Gerry keeps the funeral home running smoothly. You will most likely find her greeting visitors upon their arrival for viewings or funerals.

William E. Pipp
Staff Assistant/Aftercare Coordinator
Bill retired after over 40 years as a United Methodist Minister, but is still serving a small church in Perry County.
He served churches in Williamsport, PA and Carlisle, PA prior to retirement. After retirement, Bill completed his studies at the Pittsburgh Institute of Mortuary Science to meet the educational requirements to become a Pennsylvnia Licensed Funeral Director. He is currently finishing these requirements to take his licensing examination. Bill assists with all aspects of the funeral home, including operating our on-site crematory. More importantly, he serves as our Aftercare Coordinator, meeting with families after the funeral service to provide follow-up care to our families and assisting them in finding bereavement and counseling resources unique to each family's needs. He and his wife Linda enjoy traveling, especially to their retirement home in North Carolina.

Richard Snyder

Dick is retired from the former AMP, Inc. and is a member of Otterbein United Methodist Church, Boiling Springs and St. John's Lodge #260 F&AM. Dick is also a licensed Auctioneer in Pennsylvania and in his spare time enjoys landscaping.

Frank recently retired from R&N Electric in Mechanicsburg. He is a member of Shiloh Missionary Baptist Church, Carlisle, where he serves on the Board of Deacons. He and his wife Linda live in Mt. Holly Springs and have two grown children and several grandchildren.

Computer Systems Administrator
Brian, also a Carlisle native, is a 1983 graduate of Boiling Springs High School and a 1987 graduate of Elizabethtown College where he received a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Communications.
Brian is also an Eagle Scout from Troop 171 in Boiling Springs.
